An Arts Council is a group of persons and/or organizations who care about the cultural life of the community and seek to express this concern by organizing to promote interest and activity in the Arts.
The Ashland Arts Council is a non-profit organization that promotes the Arts through education, community partnerships, and a tradition of showcasing local artists. The Arts include, but are not limited to, drawing, painting, pottery, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, graphic and computer design, visual arts, vocal and instrumental music, theater, poetry, dance, woodworking, and metalsmithing.
